Services Price
Our pricing is based on the complexity of the repair and the parts needed. We offer competitive rates and are happy to provide you with a quote before any work is done. Please contact us for more information.

- Wipe down with cleaning fluid
- Frame and forks alignment check
- Brakes and gears returned to factory settings
- Chain checked and lubricated
- Wheels & Tyres examination. Extensive truing will be an extra labour charge.
- Full safety check
- All working parts checked for efficient operation
- You will be advised of any parts that need replacing or are close to being needed to ensure your bike remains safe for continued use

Meet MARTIN!
I had spinal surgery over twenty years ago because four discs in my spine were damaged. It took three surgeries over five years to fix the issue, and the last one was successful. My surgeon recommended that I take up a physical activity to strengthen my core, so we both agreed that cycling would be a good choice.
After I recovered, I bought my first road bike and fell in love with it. Not only was cycling a great way to exercise, but it also allowed me to meet people from all walks of life and hear their stories.
When I needed my bike serviced and had to wait two weeks, I realized I could fix it myself. I searched online for bike repair courses and found one taught by Chris Butcher, a top bike mechanic.
Some local cyclists later asked me to fix their bikes too, so I started my own business, Topgear Cycle Repair. I enjoy repairing and restoring old bikes and use salvaged parts whenever possible to keep costs down for my customers.
Starting my own business was the best decision I’ve ever made.
